Eylof (?), Amsterdam, 17e eeuws Titel:Default Title It appears that the ornament17th century silver miniature windlass, possibly made by the silversmith Lodewijk Eylof from Amsterdam. He was active from 1653 to 1698. The windlass is hallmarked with a maker's mark that resembles Eylof's dolphin. All miniatures produced before 1704 were not yet (legally) provided with a city hallmark. Also hallmarked with the crowned V as a later tax mark. In good condition. Weight: 28 grams.
